The City of Raleigh Office of the Arts (Raleigh Arts)
As a government entity, Raleigh Arts often defaulted to a formal voice on social media. In an effort to increase citizen accessibility, I created an affable voice, interacted with followers as Raleigh Arts and increased the rate of response to inquiries. Engagement and followers increased by over 300% in the first year across all platforms.
I continued Raleigh Arts’ voice in the newsletter, refined the content, simplified the layout and extended the branding. Open rates increased within the first 2 months.
Bright pink and teal brought an unexpected color palette to a government voice. By using a consistent color palette across text graphics, I sought to establish better brand recognition for Raleigh Arts.
